Garbage bins and/or recycling bins, must be at the roadside by 6:00 a.m. Drivers’ routes may vary, but they will not make a special trip back to the Village if you missed the deadline to have your bins at roadside. Also, please move your bins from the roadside the same evening as pickup!

The following information has been provided by GFL Environmental regarding Garbage/Recycling date changes for 2026. 

• January 1 — New Year’s Day — 1 day delay – pickup on Friday 
• May 25 — Memorial Day – 1 day delay — pickup on Friday
• July 4 — Independence Day – normal Thursday  pickup 
• September 7 — Labor Day – 1 day delay — pickup on Friday
• November 26 — Thanksgiving Day — 1 day delay — pickup on Friday
