Notice to Public
When cutting grass in the Village of Forestville, please make your first round or two with clippings landing on your property — not in the street. In curbed areas, this will help maintain our sewer lines by keeping the clippings out of the drains. AND, as a safety precaution — grass clippings on the roadway present a hazard to motorcycle drivers, so even if you are on a “side road”, please keep grass clippings OFF THE ROAD!!!
In the Fall, please be sure that leaves are not raked into the street … causing drainage issues on the streets.
